Do You Know Foundation, a non-profit organisation based in South Africa that defends worldwide women rights against war atrocities, violence, abuse, and rape, and also protects children against drug and alcohol abuse in the townships of Africa. We advocate for accessibility to education and social support, infrastructure, for they are the Future of Africa and equal opportunities for women in Africa.

Definitions

A Volunteer for an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) is an individual who offers their time, skills, and effort to support the NGO's activities without expecting financial compensation. Volunteers are crucial to NGOs as they contribute to community development, social welfare, and various causes such as education, healthcare, environmental conservation, and human rights.

A Team Member Volunteer for an NGO is an appointed individual who dedicates their time and skills to support the organization's projects and initiatives as part of a collective effort. They work collaboratively with other volunteers and staff to achieve the NGO's mission. This role may involve various tasks, from administrative support to direct service delivery, depending on the needs of the NGO and the volunteer's abilities.

Declaration and Consent:

I declare that the information I have provided in this form is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understand and agree that:

• Volunteering with Do You Know Foundation commences at the submited date and is valid for 6 Months prior the submitting date. After the termination of the previous contract you are required to sign another one, which is to be stamped and signed by the Founder and Executive Director.

• Volunteering with Do You Know Foundation is not paid work and the organisation is not entitled to paying me for my services or expenses however Team Member Volunteers will be paid R200 for tasks completed by the Founder as the founder sees fit.

• Volunteering with Do You Know Foundation does not guarantee me any employment or benefit from the organisation or any other party.

• Volunteering with Do You Know Foundation requires me to abide by the organisation's policies, rules, and code of conduct, and to respect the rights and dignity of the beneficiaries and the staff.

• Volunteering with Do You Know Foundation may involve risks and challenges, and I am responsible for my own health and safety, and for the protection of my personal belongings.

• The Founder and the Executive Director has the right to terminate the volunteer service at any time, without giving any reason or notice.

• Before commencing any task, each member is required to sign a task document. This document must also bear the signature and stamp of the Founder and the Executive Director and no volunteer will be permitted to commence any task without the documentation.

Confidentiality

Definition of Confidential Information

For the purposes of this Agreement, "Confidential Information" shall include, but not be limited to, all information, data, documents, business strategies, donor details, beneficiary information, proprietary software, and any other material that is not publicly available and is disclosed to the Volunteer during their service to the Foundation.

• The Volunteer agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all Confidential Information and to not disclose such information to any third party without the prior written consent of the Foundation.

• The Volunteer shall use the Confidential Information solely for the purpose of performing tasks and duties as assigned by the Foundation and not for any personal gain or detrimental purpose.

• The obligation of confidentiality shall remain in effect for the duration of the Volunteer's service and shall continue indefinitely upon termination of such service, regardless of the reason for termination.

• Upon the end of the Volunteer's service, or upon the Foundation's request at any time, the Volunteer shall promptly return all materials containing Confidential Information to the Foundation.

Breach Of Confidentiality

In the event of a breach of this Agreement by the Volunteer, the following actions may be taken by the Foundation:

• The Foundation will notify the Volunteer of the alleged breach and provide an opportunity to respond and/or remedy the breach if possible.

• The Foundation reserves the right to terminate the Volunteer's service immediately if the breach compromises any aspect of the Foundation's operations or its beneficiaries.

• The Foundation maintains the authority to pursue legal recourse in the event that a volunteer violates the terms of the agreement.
